JOHN A. LOGAN ZACHARY was born August 15, 1885 in Overton County, Tennessee, and died November 01, 1961 in Fentress County, Tennessee. He married JULIA EVA WRIGHT circa 1906-1907. She was born January 06, 1890 in Fentress County, Tennessee, and died February 18, 1950 in Fentress County, Tennessee.  BOTH are buried in Taylor Place Cemetery, Fentress County, Tennessee.

(WEBSITE NOTE:  I can recall seeing John Logan Zachary only once in 1959 when I was 7-years-old.  If any family members have any stories to tell or photos to share, I’d love to make them part of this post.  Did he die in a house-fire or a barn-fire?  Was he a lifelong farmer or did he have other occupations?)

MARGARET E. ZACHARY (WEBSITE NOTE: AKA was “Peggy”) was born on April 02, 1909, Overton County, Tennessee.  She married GEORGE THOMAS WALLACE on March 10, 1943.  He was born on May 25, 1912, Overton Co, Tennessee and died March 19, 1988, Overton Co, Tennessee.

OTHA ALLEN ZACHARY was born on September 08, 1910 in Overton County, Tennessee. He died August 27, 1988 in Anderson, Indiana.  He married Dorothy Mae Slaven on May 15, 1932 in Jamestown, Fentress County, Tennessee.  She died December 29, 2004 in Anderson, Madison County, Indiana.

ADDIEVILLE ZACHARY was born on September 23, 1913 in Overton County, Tennessee.  (WEBSITE NOTE:  Her death notice said she was born in Jamestown, Tennessee which I believe is Fentress County) She died on October 31, 2010 and is buried in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery, Anderson Indiana.  She married Orville Graham (WEBSITE NOTE:  Date and place unknown at this time). 

WALTER SIDWELL ZACHARY, b. May 12, 1916, Overton Co, Tennessee; d. January 26, 1985, Overton Co, Tennessee; m. MARY E. SLAVEN  (WEBSITE NOTE:  This is under revision)

CALLIE ANN ZACHARY was born on April 25, 1920 in Overton County, Tennessee.

(WEBSITE NOTE:  I have no further information on Callie Ann Zachary.  HELP!)

THOMAS CLAUDE ZACHARY, (WEBSITE NOTE:  I have also seen records with “CLAUSE” as the middle name, I believe “CLAUDE” is correct) was born on September 24, 1921, in Overton Co, Tennessee.  He died on December 24, 1921, in Overton County, Tennessee.

JOHNNIE PEARL ZACHARY was born April 3, 1924 in Livingston, Tennessee.  She died on March 26, 2011 in Lapel, Indiana.  She married Hubert Lavon Parks (WEBSITE NOTE: Date unknown).  She is buried in the Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery in Anderson, Indiana.

GABELLA RUTH ZACHARY, b. February 26, 1927, Fentress Co, Tennessee.

(WEBSITE NOTE:  Do any family members have any information (or here-say) on Julia Delta Zachary and/or Zelta Zachary?  If the records I found are correct (many are not), it would appear they were twins; Zelta’s death is listed as the same year she was born, and Julia Delta’s death is listed as being 19-months after she was born.  It is possible that Zelta and Delta are the same child and that the records have been mangled together.)
